Members of The Fringe helped to celebrate Jane Austen’s 250 birthday by delivering dialogue scenes from 5 of her novels and a song in three rooms at Chawton House. The performances took place on the mornings and afternoons of 13 and 20 December, thus embracing her birthday on 16 December. The visitors to the house who came upon these pieces of pop up theatre were delightfully responsive to our efforts.
