Bartlett wanted audiences to interpret \u2018the plague\u2019 in the context the world around them. Five years after the original<br>production we have the opportunity to see The Plague through the prism of our own experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alton Fringe Theatre first read the play in January 2020 with the intention of staging it later that year\u2026we know what happened next! Now, nearly three years later, AFT brings The Plague to the stage.
