Rehearsals under way for Breaking the Code
There is a palpable buzz as rehearsals get under way for our forthcoming production. The more the cast get to know the play the more they are excited by the importance of the story it tells, its topicality, and the sheer quality of the writing.
Our own Helen De Peyrecave has created a portrait of Alan Turing as the production's thematic image. It is not only a remarkable likeness but seems to capture his intelligence while hinting at his vulnerability.
As for the last few productions, we are looking forward to using the excellent performance space afforded by the Studio at the Wessex Arts Centre. Director Steve Gerlach promises the kind of minimalist staging typical of the Fringe, and an exciting soundscape is in preparation to enhance the audience experience.
